A fold - standing in a room

The sculpture was created as part of a larger series of work, named Land of my dreams between 2019-2022, bringing together sculptural objects, installation, photography, vegetal organisms and moving-image. It was exhibited during the 2022 Royal College of Arts degree show in London.

In this holistic project the artist works in a matter-led and intuitive way, by not imposing scripts or specific final visions onto the different pieces, but by leaving experimentation to lead the way.

Made of flamed copper, the hanging sculpture will change colour over time as it reacts to its environment.
